Book seven in the Brothers in Revenge is a well written story that had me on the edge of my seat the entire book. This is a quick book to read. This is Jake and Eve's story but Eve is hiding things from Jake. Can they find a way to let each other know that the fake marriage they are in is starting to feel real. I want to read the next book. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing.

This romantic suspense novel will capture your attention right at the beginning and keep it until the end. Well written with strong, engaging characters and an entertaining romance. Jake and Eva are an unlikely pair and opposites in many ways. Plenty of drama and suspense. Their chemistry is off the charts. Another great read from Victoria Pinder. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review.

This book is a continuation of the Brothers in Revenge series featuring the Bentley family. Jake and Eva, like the other brothers and their wives, were married so the Bentleys could receive a reprieve from jail in order to find the persons responsible for having them imprisoned. Jake and Eva are having difficulties in their marriage. Eva had been used to spy on the Bentleys and Jake couldn't fully trust his wife. Even as their relationship plays out in this book, the choices this couple make set them on a precarious path. The author has built wonderfully human characters that are both likeable and relatable. This story has an HEA ending, yet is setting in motion the next book in this series.
