The island of Saint Lucia is known for its natural beauty, with lush rainforests, stunning beaches, and clear blue waters. It is also home to a rich cultural heritage, with a mix of African, European, and Caribbean influences evident in its music, cuisine, and traditions. The island has a population of approximately 170,000 people, the majority of whom are of African descent. The official language is English, but Saint Lucians also speak a Creole language known as Kwéyòl. The economy is primarily based on tourism, agriculture, and manufacturing.
