Um höfundinn

Elizabeth Parker is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Public Health and Social Work at the Queensland University of Technology. She has teaching and research experience in public health and health promotion in Australia, and was formerly a senior manager in the Department of Public Health, Toronto, Canada. She is co-author, with Professor Mary Louise Fleming, of the book Health promotion: principles and practice in the Australian context. She holds a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Toronto.Ignacio Correa-Velez is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Public Health and Social Work at the Queensland University of Technology. He has a background in general practice, family medicine and public health. He teaches public health practice, chronic conditions prevention and management, and refugee/migrant health. Ignacio's research interests include refugee health and settlement, health inequities, broad determinants of health, human rights, andglobal health. From February 2019, Ignacio will join the Queensland Program of Assistance to Survivors of Torture and Trauma (QPASTT) as co-CEO (Impact and Innovation).
