Intrigue: Infinitus Billionaire

Though Roderick Thorne (Rod) is quite comfortable getting to know many a random women intimately, his flighty nature is repeatedly tested when he's ensnared by an equally adventurous, spunky, and energetic Terri Randal who has a great skill in disappearing and fighting him at every turn. Terri's secret is that she'd rather not fight; she's interested too, but her instinct is to protect Rod from her past, which continues to hound her. Rod's secret is that he's already entwined and must decide whether to blame or believe in her. E.B. Walters is a queen of plot twists, revealing connections the reader never expected or noticed, and of course every turn is interspersed with sexual tension and heated moments. Walters has outdone herself; unlike the first 2 books in the already panty-dropping Infinitus Billionaire series, Rod and Terri dive straight into their erotic escapades, and don't slow down throughout the whole book. The romance is hot and passionate, and the mystery and danger equally pulse-pounding; definitely true to the title in multiple senses of the word "Intrigue."

****4.5 Hot, Steamy Stars**** EB Walters has written yet another steamy romance with heart; she has a way crafting these characters that are hot and brilliant with complex emotions. This book is well written funny, witty, sexy, with some suspense thrown in makes for a good read. Terri Randal is hiding from her horrible past; she wants to live her life without looking over her shoulder. Rod Thorne is billionaire whose past has not always be good to him but now he works hard and plays just as hard. A chance encounter between Terri and Rod becomes life changing experience from them. Terri double life as the Chameleon brings them back together. There is a constant power struggle between Terri and Rod; both are used to being in control and answering to no-one - inside the bedroom or out. Terri won't get close to anyone, it's the only way she can keep them and herself safe, but the more she runs, the more determined Rod becomes to find out all her secrets, fight all her battles and protect her from everything - even herself if needed. Will Rod walk away when he discovers the truth about her identity? They are both running, but from very different ghosts, can they trust each other enough to stop running and fight their demons together? ****I received this book from NetGallery for an honest review****

The synopsis says it all. Rod is part of the infamous Infinitus group and has a chance encounter with Terri that changes everything he’s believed since college. In fact, it ends up being a life changing experience for both of them. There's always a good back story, and this one is a serious game changer. Of course they lose track of each other; there's danger and intrigue involved, volatile situations, threatening bad guys, the works. But there's also hot steamy romance, sex that's off the charts and some things that neither of them counted on. I'm not giving it away because I waited months to read this, and it's just too tantalizing for readers to pass up. It is a true E.B. Walters contemporary romance that you don't want to miss. Not only do we have the two main characters, but we learn more about some of the other men of the Infinitus group, making us salivate for the next one, and has us choosing who we want to hear about next. E.B. Walters has a way with romantic stories that leaves us out of breath and begging for more. There's a connection between her characters that is unmistakable. They always fight the inevitable but that's what makes the story so exciting and gets us all involved. What is going to be the one factor that tips the scales for this one? No one does it quite like she does, and I'm looking forward to seeing what she has in store for us next.
