Instrumentation Techniques refer to the development of methods and tools used in applied physics, materials science and nanotechnology for design, synthesis, manufacturing, imaging or analytics for analytical chemists in special and all the material scientists in general. They form a basis for qualitative description of as well as quantitative estimation of various types of materials, samples, reaction intermediates and final products. The fundamental principles underlying these techniques, instrumentation involved in it, applications for routine analysis and current status of these techniques in research field have been covered in each chapter. The authors have taken all the efforts to make the language and topics simple to understand for the UG as well as PG students.

is Associate Professor and Head of Department Chemistry, Amity Institute of Applied Sciences, Amity University, Noida. She has been awarded with doctoral degree by Nagpur University and is working in the field of electro-analytical and environmental chemistry, drug analysis and impurity studies. Topics of interest are polarographic and voltammetric analysis of metal ions and pharmaceutical compounds and the use of natural and modified adsorbents for the removal of toxic pollutants from water sources, biodiesel production and analysis. She has also written 2 books and has published several papers in national and international journals. She has 3 patents to her credit of which 1 has been granted. Presently she is guiding 2 students for her doctoral thesis. She has more than 17 years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate level for Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Science and Master of Science. She has also been the member of the organizing committees as well as organizing secretary of various national and international conferences, workshops and seminars.

is Professor in Analytical Chemistry at Post Graduate Teaching Department of Chemistry, RTM Nagpur University. He has a teaching experience of 22 years and research experience of 10 years. He has guided 1 postdoctoral student, 10 Ph D students and 56 MSc Dissertations. Prof. Jugade has 57 research publications and 6 text books published for UG classes. He is a reviewer for various international journals and is an editorial board member for Analytica India. He has delivered lectures on MHRD Swayam Prabha Channel on various topics of Inorganic Chemistry. He has delivered Invited Talks as well as Guest Lectures in various conferences, seminars, symposia and workshops.

completed her M.Sc. in Chemistry from Banasthali Vidyapith. She was awarded PhD in 2013 from same University. She has completed her experimental work from Capital Normal University, Beijing. She had been awarded by Young Scientist Award from Indian Council of Chemists, Indian Chemical Society, Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University for oral presentations. She was awarded by Charusat Best Thesis award by Gujarat Science Congress. She worked as an Assistant Professor in Department of Chemistry, Banasthali Vidyapith till 2015. Presently she is Assistant Professor, Amity Institute of Applied Sciences, Amity University (Noida). With 11 years of teaching experience, she has published many papers, reviews and book chapters in the field of Inorganic Chemistry and Nanochemistry.
