Dr. Nemat Keyhani is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Cell Science at the University of Florida. He received his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Johns Hopkins University. His primary research interests include the biology of fungal genetics and communication between insects. Currently, Keyhani explores behaviors in the fire ant. He serves on the editorial boards for multiple journals, including Pathogens and Applied Microbiology & Biotechnology.
Dr. Brian Lovett is a Researcher in the Kasson Laboratory at West Virginia University’s Division of Plant and Soil Science. He received his PhD in Entomology from the University of Maryland. His current research includes developing chestnut blight biotechnology and investigation of the pathology and evolution of the entomopthoralean fungi. He has also worked on field trials for mosquito control in sub-Saharan Africa.
