ISO 9001:2015 quality management system has become part of the requirement of all the organizations, small to large, service as well as manufacturing. Over the years, ISO 9001 QMS has evolved, as per the organizations requirement, and has become very important for improving organizations systems and processes in order to sustain competitive advantages. This book focuses on requirements and key features of ISO 9001:2015 QMS such as risk based thinking, PDCA approach, process management, and continual improvement. The readers would find it easier to understand the standard requirements and implement these in their work place. Salient features: 1. Each clause and sub clause is illustrated through block diagram for easy understanding 2. Numerous examples, case examples and case studies from different organizations both from service and manufacturing for the benefit of the readers 3. Special focus on risk based thinking and documented information provided. 6. Management discussions to illustrate the clause requirements are included for better understanding and readability. Dr. R. R. LAKHE is presently working as Director, Shreyas Quality Management System, SQMS, Nagpur. He peruses both academic & professional interest. Deeply interested in learning, he has completed, in addition to his PhD in Industrial Engineering, Masters in Management, Sociology, Public Administration, and Training & Development. He is Qualified Lead Assessor for ISO9001 QMS, ISO14001EMS, and ISO50001ENMS & OHSAS 18001. He is Master Black Belt Six Sigma. Academically he has guided 14 PhD scholars in both Nagpur & Amaravati University. He is member of RRC in Mumbai University. He is Co-author of Two books; 'Handbook of Total Quality Management' & 'Total Quality Management for Service Sector' (Published by JAICO Publication). He has to his credit more than 50 papers in International journals of repute and more than 300 papers in National Journal & conferences. He is reviewer for International Journals published by Emerald, Taylor & Francis, Inderscience etc. He is on advisory boards of number of engineering colleges. Professionally he has provided training & consultancy to more than 200 organizations at national & International level on various performance improvement aspects such as Quality Award, ISO9000, ISO14000, ISO50001 ENMS, OHSAS18000, ISO22000, ISO17025, 5 S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, NABL accreditation, FAMI-QS, BIFMA. He is active member of various professional associations such as IE(I), ISTE, IIIE, ISE, ISTD, IIPE, IIMM, NIQR and organizes conferences seminars on Quality every year. He loves travelling and has travelled to Europe, USA, and South-East Asian countries both as a part of business as well as pleasure.
