Catalina Echeverri was born in Bogota, Colombia, in 1986. She has a BA in graphic design from the Accademia di Comunicazione (Milano, Italy) and an MA in children's book illustration from Cambridge School of Art, ARU (Cambridge, UK). Catalina likes to write and illustrate her own stories. She is currently working on picture books with both Random House and Bloomsbury Press. Her work has been selected to feature in the Best of British Illustration catalogue in 2012, published by the AOI (Association of Illustrators). Catalina currently lives in London with her husband, William.
