I adore all of the Jordan sisters, but had a special place for tomboy Micki from the moment we met her. I totally got the whole being every guys best friend and them all treating her like one of the guys as she was pretty much raised in the locker rooms. I loved when she finally decided to make changes in her appearance, she went to her sister Sophie and while she remained the same Micki she always was, she turned into a total hottie. I really love getting to spend time with the Jordan sisters in each book and it was awesome to see Sophie and Micki grow closer in Hot Number. I'm just going to put it out there. I absolutely adore that Uncle Yank has picked out guys for each of his girls. The fact he made sure Micki was working with Damian and then made sure they ended up on Damian's private island together. Seriously Yank has the best interest at heart for his girls and is great and finding them great guys. The chemistry between Damian and Micki was smoking hot. I also loved how protective Damian was of Micki. I really liked that both Damian and Micki accepted each other just as they were. Yes Damian loved Micki's makeover, but he was every bit as attracted to her before as he was after. I really loved Damian and Micki as a couple. There was both a sweetness and a sexiness to their relationship that made me fall in love with them together. Hot Number was another winner in the updated Hot Zone books. Carly Phillips already had the base of an absolutely wonderful series that was only made better by updating. I am loving my visit back to the Hot Zone books and look forward to soon reading both Hot Item and Hot Property. Rating: 5 Stars (A)

I truly enjoyed reading Hot Number, the second book in Carly Phillips’ Hot Zone series, once again. I loved how Micki Jordan, the youngest of the sisters and a tomboy, stood up to Damian Fuller despite her insecurities and the fact that she really cared for the man. Micki has always felt like she was one of the guys, not noticed by the womanizing baseball player, until a New Year’s Eve kiss which sparks feelings for these two. As these two spend time together with Micki helping Damian out with some bad publicity, Damian realizes that Micki really is a “Hot Number”, and those real feelings he has for her and that’s not his usual M.O. This book is not the sexy story as are Phillips’ more recent books, but still has those loveable characters that you want to cheer on, hoping for their happy ending. The characters were well written and authentic. The story line was riveting and kept my attention to the very end. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down. I highly recommend this book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Outrageously Fun, Sexy, Emotional and Entertaining Story of a Tomboy finding her forever love and her feminine side while a boy (baby of the family) raised in a family full of girls used to getting everything he wants finds he has to fight to get the one woman he has ever really wanted. Loved that Yank and Lola's love story was also continued in this book and was very interesting to read play out. Micki grows up as a tomboy always keeping to her Uncle's side and following his every foot step, as an adult she finds herself as stamped with the "just one of the guys" and it is both good and horribly bad. Damian is your typical mega rich playboy athlete enjoying a successful carrier and party boy personal life (or so it would seam from the outside). These two (baby of the family) hard headed, compassionate people where made to make each other better. Highly entertaining to read and looking forward to the next Hot Zone adventure.
