Tentang eBook ini

There is an urgent need to develop large-scale, cost-effective new energy resources based on carbon-neutral or carbon-free materials despite significant scientific and technical challenges in meeting the global energy demand. The recent progress in the field of natural photosynthesis and new discoveries from studies of hydrogenase enzymes have provided us important insight into the details of water splitting and hydrogen production reactions in natural processes, offering us guidelines to construct systems for large scale solar hydrogen fuel production for the future.

This digital primer will empower you with some basic information about the field of artificial photosynthesis and the challenges for electro- and photocatalytic water splitting and prepare you to understand the relevant references for more detailed information.
