Thavamurugan was born and brought up in the “ Urathur jam jamthar pattam “, a village of Ramanathapuram district, Paramakudi taluka. To this very day the village does not have a tea stall as its residents cannot contribute to its survival. Into such poverty was born Thavamuruganand his four sisters. Inspite of all the obstacles and struggles in life, he has found success. How? The answer, books! He took up the tremendous task of reading whatever books he came across. He gained a lot of knowledge and guidance from them that helped shape his life. This also helped him author a book called ThavathinThaagam that made his parents very proud.
