Herbal Drug Technology

Dr. Lavanya Babu is presently working as Professor, Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER), Selaiyur, Chennai. She has overall 14 years of teaching, administrative, research experience. She has also conducted Seminars and e- FDPs in various Organizations. She has published 19 research and review papers in various National and International journals, also published the Patent Designs and Patent Publications. She has completed her PG from Vels University, Chennai and Ph.D. from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai. Her core competency is in Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry Identification Medicinal Plants by Pharmacogenetic and Phytochemical methods, Preparation of Herbal Extracts and its Phytochemical Analysis, Isolation of Phytocompounds, its Estimation and Characterization, Standardization of Commercial marketed Formulations. 

Dr. Uttam Sharma is presently working as Principal at the Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. He has a total of 19 years of teaching, administrative, and research experience. He is a life member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India, Indian Pharmacy Association, Indian Society of Pharmacognosy, and Paschimbanga Vigyan Mancha. Natural member of the ‘East Himalayan Society for Spermatophyte Taxonomy. He has published 12 research and review papers in various national and international journals. He has delivered many expert lectures in various colleges and scientific forums. Nationally and Internationally. He has completed his master's degree from The M.G.R Medical University, Tamil Nadu, and Ph.D. from The West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata. His field of interest in ethnomedicine.

Dr. Reshu Tiwari is presently working as Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics at Department of Pharmacy, Integral University, Lucknow. She has overall 8 years of teaching, administrative, research experience. She has published 2 Books, 4 Book Chapters and 14 research and review papers in various National and International journals. She has delivered many expert lectures in various colleges. She has completed his PG from Integral University, Uttar Pradesh, and Ph.D. from Singhania University, Rajasthan. Her core competency is in formulation development, Herbal drug dosage development, regulatory affairs and pharmaceutical audits.

Dr. Pooja Arora, working as Director Principal in Swami devi dyal institute of Pharmacy and Dean Academics at campus level. She has 24 years of experience in Academics. She has completed Ph.D in 2013 from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. Her area of specialization is Herbal drug Technology, Formulation and standardization of Herbal cosmetics. She has many National and international publications in her credit and 2 Patents on her name. She has been a part of national and international conferences, FDPs, Symposiums and many other scientic platforms. She is a life time member of IPGA, APTI, SPER and PRISAL.
