In diesem Buch werden Grundprobleme der anreizkompatiblen Erfolgsrechnung, der Erfolgsbeteiligung und der Erfolgskontrolle untersucht. Dabei geht es im Kern darum, die Entscheidungsprozesse in einer Organisation - und mithin auch die daraus resultierenden Erfolge bzw. Erfolgsströme - im Sinne der (langfristigen) Kriterien der Investitionsrechnung zu steuern. Nach Darstellung der theoretischen Grundlagen werden zunächst Anreiz- und Kontrollprobleme bei einem Entscheidungsträger untersucht. Danach werden komplexere hierarchische Entscheidungssysteme mit mehreren Entscheidungsträgern betrachtet. Im Vordergrund steht hierbei die Problematik der Erfolgszurechnung sowie die Gestaltung von Anreizsystemen für einen wahrheitsgemäßen Informationsaustausch.
