About the author

Helen Carr is Professor of Law and Director of Teaching and Learning at the University of Kent. Helen's research is in the area of housing, social welfare, and public law and she has extensive experience teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. David Goosey led postgraduate studies in health and social care at the University of Westminster for 17 years until Dec 2017. He is a Registered Social Worker and partner at The Change Agency, a consultancy firm specializing in work with local authorities, government departments, the NHS, and charities.
