Damon had left her without a goodbye. So when he is traded back to the team she loved so much, she isn't happy. She was with Cole now and trying to forget their time together. So when Cole tells her to figure what she wants, she knows immediately its Damon forever and always. Fall in love with their second chance at love and the drama that follows. This book was so good and will have you hooked from the beginning until the end and the storyline flowed throughout the book. Damon Smith walked away from the only woman he has ever loved without a goodbye and 7 years later he still can't forget her even though he is known as a player. Lyra was 18 when her Damon got together and he completely broke her heart but now he is back with someone else and she's dating someone else too. Will they ever figure it out or will he hurt her again?. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Damon and Lyra have a story that is full of emotion. They have a second chance age gap romance with backstory/history between them. It complicated between these two. Damon is a character that is not so likable in the beginning (he's an alpha-hole) but is likable in the end. It was very easy to become invested in these two.
