About this ebook

This book is intended to provide a review of mainstream Christianity and to point out the perils of cults, groups we call “Counterfeit Christianity.” As we are a Christian ministry, we also describe “Christian” cults with a bias against their dangerous teachings. Cults generally have twisted definition of God. According to the Internet, “A cult is a group with extreme, often unorthodox, beliefs and practices, usually led by a charismatic figure who exerts strong influence over members. Cults often involve excessive devotion to a person, idea, or object, and may isolate members from mainstream society.” Cults accept non-traditional interpretations of scripture. They are founded by the false prophets the Bible warns us about. They distort scriptures to fit their purposes and do not represent the ministry of Jesus and the apostles.
