There are few living thinkers who have enjoyed the eminence and reown of Jürgen Hamermas. The collection also addresses the relationship to Habermas of Kant, Peirce, Mead, Dewey, Piaget, Apel, Brandom and Rorty.

Mitchell Aboiulafia is Professor of Philosophy, Myra Bookman and Cathy Kemp are both lecturers of philosophy, all at the University of Colorado at Denver.
