This twisty little mystery kept me guessing as to the motive, even though I was fairly sure I had the villain identified early in the story. The fur is still flying, but at least Mika is making some decisions she’s proud of. I loved that we got to see some long-overdue adult conversations and a lot of the air got cleared. Once again, the soft cliff-hanger at the end has left me anxious to see where the next book will take us. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.
