About the author

Gregory J. Cizek is Guy B. Phillips Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the University of North Carolina--Chapel Hill. His teaching and educational research career has spanned over thirty years in contexts including elementary school, doctoral programs, Bible studies, and academic presentations. Cizek received his PhD from Michigan State University, where he focused on instructional design, assessment, and research methods.
