I received my first three in death books as a birthday present, right after I had decided not to read anymore mysteries, cop dramas etc.. It took me couple months, because I had read everything that I had and I couldn't find anything in the bookstore or library that I wanted to read , so I took out my birthday presents and dusted them and began to read, and twenty odd years later I'm still hooked. You go J.D. Robb/Nora Roberts., fanatastic!!!!!

Enjoyed the futuristic cop story with Lt. Eve Dallas and Roarke. This is going to be a good series. I did have some problems when she switched scenes and the thousand times she used Jesus Christ as a swear word.

No matter how many times you re-read the first book of the series, it never ceases to amaze whip you straight into the scenes and you just have to care with Eve.
