About the author
Giorgio Pressburger (1937–2017), scrittore e regista di origine ungherese, è sfuggito con la famiglia allo sterminio nazista nascondendosi nei sotterranei di una sinagoga. Dopo l’invasione sovietica del 1956 ha abbandonato in modo rocambolesco Budapest, rifugiandosi prima a Vienna e poi in Italia. Nel 1988 ha vinto il Premio Viareggio con La neve e la colpa.
