Anya was thrilled to be reunited with her father, legendary giant the Bodach. The rest of the world, not so much.

With Chris by her side and her powers at their peak, Anya, the Queen of Winter, did the unthinkable and freed her father and brothers from their stone prisons. After all, now that all of Elphame knew of the Seelie King’s treachery it seemed like the right thing to do. But Elphame was no longer a land where giants roamed, and most were wary of Bod and the boys.

Adding to the unease was the lack of information about the Seelie Queen. Nicnevin remained missing, and no one knew if she was alive or dead. Her absence coupled with the Seelie King’s exile meant there was a power vacuum in Elphame, one the Bodach was all too eager to fill.

Spurned by his wife, the Bodach allied with an ancient evil who was lying in wait for a chance to take Elphame for himself. The only person powerful enough to stand in their way is Anya.
