Der Sammelband untersucht, was kooperative Bildungsverantwortung in verschiedenen Bereichen bedeutet und setzt sie in Bezug zur "Educational Governance". Er schließt somit eine Lücke im Forschungsstand und ergänzt das bislang schmale sozialethische Angebot zur Governance im Bildungsbereich.
