The only sounds came from the saloon; the desultory notes of a piano, the clink of glasses, the raucous voices of men and the shrill laughter of women. 關於作者
Mark Bannerman is the pseudonym of Anthony C Lewing who was born in Essex. He was educated at Kings College School, Wimbledon, and served 35 years in the British Army. On retirement, he concentrated on writing about his greatest interest: the history of the Old West. He is the author of The Cornish Woman, and numerous Black Horse Western novels.
