Freezer paper is a quilter's best friend! The fact that it has a shiny side that will adhere to fabric when ironed, then is easily removed, means that freezer paper has a multitude of wonderful possibilities. It makes applique easy. It eliminates the need to make all those paper patterns for foundation piecing. It makes hand piecing quicker and easier because there is no need to trace templates onto the fabric.
