Die Studie behandelt am Beispiel der stationären Langzeitpflege die Frage der Entwicklungschancen des Dritten Sektors im wirtschaftsorganisationsrechtlichen Kontext der gewährleistungsstaatlichen Delegation von Daseinsvorsorgeaufgaben an einen trägerpluralistischen, regulierten Quasi-Markt. Die interdisziplinäre Mehr-Ebenen-Analyse vergleicht die normativ-rechtliche Normwelt mit der Wirklichkeit. Die morphologische Betrachtung demonstriert die Sachzieldominanz als notwendige Voraussetzung für eine bedingte Überlegenheit der Gemeinwirtschaft gegenüber der Privatwirtschaft, hinreichende Bedingung ist aber eine entsprechende Organisationskultur der Sorgearbeit.
