Grim, tough continuation of Miller's zeitgeist-changing 1980s DD stories. Never understood how Matt Murdock managed to show any mercy to his father's killers. I lived in the country for most of my life and after 3 years in a big city I wanted no reminders of city life. But I had to check in with Miller and see the follow-up 'Devil comics I missed back in the day. Nice Romita art but nothing compares to Frank with Klaus Jansen or Terry Austin.

Frank miller plus daredevil is always a great combo. This is a good starting point, but check out some of his early stuff daredevil stuff too and the fantastic born again run.

Excellent read! Note that it is only the introduction to Daredevil, an "origins" story. And as far as I can tell, the only of its kind written by Frank Miller. Worth every penny!
