In addition, core making, preparation of green sand mould, leveling of floor, bedding in mould, preparing mould with different types of core, preparing differing mould as per equipment are also covered. The related wood working different pattern making are also part of the practical task. Different metal working like chipping, filing, grinding, drilling etc. are also covered. Finally, the melting practice on induction furnace is undertaken. Preparation of different moulds viz., loam sand mould, pit mould, CO2 mould and making casting is covered in the beginning. Finding the yield percentage is also part of the practical task. Simultaneously preparation of complete core by joining half core is covered.
