It's 1983 and Lexi has more than gotten over her parent's divorce. Having to move to New Jersey, however, is simply unacceptable. No risk is too big to take, not if it gets them one step closer to the fame they want, and the freedom they can’t live without. After all, win or lose, they’ll always have each other. Until they don’t.

This is a new adult romance that follows the couple from high school to college. Encounters are explicit but typical for the age and experience of the couple.

After feeding her addiction to reading for close to forty years (Not too many engineering majors choose a literature minor) Amanda decided to try writing and quickly found that writing was a far bigger weakness for her than reading ever was. "Mistakes" was Amanda's first novel. Before "Mistakes" she wrote two screenplays which to date have not been considered by anyone for anything but she found the experience invaluable.
In addition to writing and reading, Amanda also loves downhill skiing, cross stitching and working out, specifically running, Stronglifts and DDP Yoga. She lives in New England with her wonderful husband of twenty-four years and her two children, ages twelve and nine, who are also wonderful (mostly). She enjoys being a stay at home mom, except on the days she does not.
