Sergeant Troy Black floats in space, weightless, goalless. His revenge taken, he has little else left in life except to die. Troy has little choice in this when Commodore Anderson’s battlecruiser rescues him from an eternity of floating in space.

However, rescue soon turns into imprisonment, as old loyalties prove fickle. Again, Troy faces unlikely odds. Again, he chooses to fight. To kill. To be all that he can be. A monster.
