About the author

Prof. Eun Ha Choi is working as Director and Professor of Plasma Bioscience Research Center, Applied Plasma Medicine Center, and Department of Electrical & Biological Physics/Department of Plasma Bioscience & Display, at Kwangwoon University at Seoul, South Korea, since 1992. He has also worked as Senior Researcher positions at Korea Reserach Institute of Standards and Science (1990-1992), Visiting Professir at Texas Tech University (2001-2003), and Assistant Professor/Research Contractor at Hampton University/NASA (1989-1990) and Post Doctor/Research Associaate at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC)/Catholic University at MD, USA (1987-1989), in the field of pulsed plasma physics and charged particles. With 35 years' experience in the field of plasma physics and medicine, he has published extensively (more than 500 publications) and is Regular Chair of many international conferences. Amongst his awards is the ‘Plasma Medicine Award", which is based on the lifetime achievement from the International Society for Plasma Medicine in 2016. He is also included as the world top 2% and 100,000 scientists in the dataset published by Elsevier and Stanford University in 2020.
