About the author
Esther Cosani nació en Arica en 1914. Y como su padre debía viajar constantemente, ella vivía en Tacna con su abuela. Sus estudios básicos los hizo en Lima y a los 24 años publicó su primera obra: Leyendas de la vieja casa. A esta le siguieron Leyendas de la quena. Para saber y contar (1939) y las tres más conocidas: Las aventuras de Andrajo (1942), Cuentos a Pelusa (1943) y la presente historia de ángeles, publicada por primera vez en 1957.
