About the author

Born and raised in Denver, CO., Eric Warner successfully completed a degree in German Studies at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR, before pursuing a formal education in Brewing Science in Germany. After three years of extensive brewery, lab and course work, Eric earned the degree ‘Diplom-Braumeister’ from the Technical University of Munich at Weihenstephan. Author of German Wheat Beer and Kölsch, both Classic Beer Style Series books from Brewers Publications, Eric worked in the US and in Europe at several breweries such as Tabernash in Colorado and Flying Dog, visiting scores of others. Currently, Warner heads up brewing operations at Karbach Brewing Company in Houston, Texas.
