About the author

Recep Efe is Professor of Geography and Ecology. He received his MSc and PhD from the Institute of Marine Sciences and Geography at Istanbul University, Turkey. He conducts studies and projects in the fields of ecology, ecosystem analysis, geomorphology, geography education and tourism.

Irina Koleva is Full Professor of Ethno-pedagogy and Education at the University of Sofia “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Bulgaria. She received her PhD from Sofia University in 1980. She is also a coordinator of training and scientific activities in the system of pre-school education and primary education for career development of teachers and headmasters of educational institutions.

Emin Atasoy graduated with a degree in Geography Education from the Faculty of Education at Uludağ University, Turkey, where he currently works. His areas of interest include anthropogeography, regional geography, geography education, environmental education and political geography.
