Once again I have loved visiting Cliffehaven and in particular, Beach View boarding house! Peggy Reilly and her extended family, trying to get back to normal since WW2 ended, but then realising that this is now the new normal! Who wouldn't want the lovely, warm Peggy as a friend and to sit in Peggy's homely "new" kitchen over a cuppa and a natter? It's been an amazing read, making me laugh one minute, then cry the next and be infuriated with Ron, Harvey and Monty trampling mud into that very kitchen when it's just been cleaned. However, I'm dreading the time when Harvey takes his last breath - I will be in floods of tears! I'm so glad there's going to be the another visit to Cliffehaven next spring - I've already booked my train ticket, as in pre-ordering it now! Ellie Dean, what you've had to go through in recent years, I can't begin to imagine, but in A Place Called Home, you have certainly delivered what your dear late husband asked you for. Well done!
