Steve Davis┬а
Steve Davis was born the son of a working class family in the late 1950тАЩs on the edge of London, where industrial London meets Essex countryside. He is the the youngest of three children.┬а
He spent his formative years on a diet of тАШCarry On FilmsтАЩ, Benny Hill and the likes, and after leaving High School he began a degree course in photography in a Central London college, spending much of his spare lunch time in Soho, Carnaby Street,┬аamongst the тАШPeep ShowsтАЩ, Adult Theatres and тАШModelsтАЩ that were prolific in that area, and evenings and weekends in the Nightclubs and DiscoтАЩs in Ilford, Romford, Basildon and Southend. HeтАЩs no stranger to the seedier┬аside of life.┬а
In later life he became involved in theatre, fitting in well with the decadent, bohemian characters of that lifestyle. ┬а
He writes about characters that live on the edge of respectability, drawing influences from his observations of true life.┬а
