About the author

Dr. Ekarizan Shaffie obtained her PhD in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam, Malaysia. She currently holds the position of Associate Professor at the College of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and is a principal researcher at the Institute for Infrastructure Engineering and Sustainable Management (IIESM). Her research is primarily focused on pavement engineering, nanomaterials, materials testing, modified bitumen, and hot mix asphalt. She further specializes in pavement engineering nanocomposites, material

characterization, and evaluating the performance of hot mix asphalt mixtures. As a significant contributor to research both as a leader and a team member, her work emphasizes sustainable and green materials in highways and pavement engineering.

Dr. Rohana Hassan is an Associate Professor at the College of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA

(UiTM). She also the founder of Engineered Wood Products Research Group (EWPro) at UiTM. Her research focuses primarily on structural engineering and timber engineering products for sustainable green technologies

targeting the development of timber as alternatives and green material.

Dr. Ahmad Kamil Arshad graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from Curtin University of Technology, Perth,

Western Australia, MSc (Highway & Transportation Engineering) from Universiti Putra Malaysia and PhD in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA. He is currently a Professor (Highway and Transportation) in the College of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and Director of the Institute for Infrastructure Engineering and Sustainable Management (IIESM). He is a Professional Engineer registered with the Boards of Engineers, Malaysia and a Fellow of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (FIEM). His current research interests include Sustainable Pavement Materials, Highway and Transportation Engineering.

Dr. Norshariza Mohamad Bhkari received her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the Universiti Teknologi MARA. Currently, she is a senior lecturer in the College of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).

She is also a principal researcher at the Institute for Infrastructure Engineering and Sustainable Management (IIESM). Her main research interests are in the field of timber engineering and engineered timber products.

Dr. Muhd Norhasri Muhd Sidek is a Principal Investigator (Researcher) and Senior Lecturer of Civil Engineering at the Institute for Infrastructure Engineering and Sustainable Management (IIESM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia. His research interest are in the areas of concrete, sustainable materials, Nano materials, Ultra High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) and non-destructive test (NDT) for building materials.
