Izabela Jonek-Kowalska is a researcher at Silesian University of Technology, with twenty years of experience in the field of social sciences, primarily in the field of economics, finance and management. She is the author of over 320 scientific publications, including several dozen international ones. For several years, her research interests have focused on risk and risk management. She also cooperates with companies developing practical industry analysis and expertise. She is currently a member of the supervisory board of Europe's largest producer of coking coal for the metallurgical industry.
