Editorial Alvi Books, Ltd is a British publishing brand with a wholly family-owned capital that produces cultural, informative, educational and entertainment content for the Spanish-speaking markets. It is a successful online publisher in Europe and Latin America, and has a prominent presence among the main co-publishing labels in Europe.

Created in Gerona as the Svafor Academy and the promotion of low-cost direct sales of courses in digital format, it was renamed Editorial Planeta Alvi, Ltd. in 2014 and quickly consolidated as a prestigious brand with the ability to combine tradition and future. In 2018 it changed its commercial strategy and with it also its corporate name by the current Editorial Alvi Books, Ltd.

Since its expansion into the print publishing sector, to which it has been incorporating select publishing classics from the Spanish-speaking market, it has projected into new business areas, new products, new media and new markets.

Today, Editorial Alvi Books publications are present in more than two hundred countries and it has a potential audience of more than seven hundred million people for its works published in Spanish. Andrea Gutierrez is a translator born in Mexico in 1995. She studied German and English and obtained PET KET and FCE certifications at the University of Cambridge. She has been a teacher teaching English and German as a teacher and has a degree in Marketing. She has always had a facility to study languages and her future plans include learning Italian, Russian and Japanese.

José Antonio Alías began his career as a composer and later became an author under the same artistic name and pseudonym, respectively, of Ares Van Jaag. Later he would work as a freelance editor.

His literary works include "Manual del jugador Profesional" -Editorial Trafford Publishing (2008), "El Motor de Agua" -Editorial Vivelibro (2013) or "Moncheta Gonzalo de la Birria Caateta" -Editorial Alvi Books (2016).

He was director of Editorial Planeta-Alvi until his liquidation in 2018.

He currently serves as editor and director of the London publishing house Alvi Books, Ltd.
