Hope returns when a new cyborg, AL17, is cloned, only to be dashed when he remembers nothing about Pauline, his fellow cyborgs, or New Eden. AL is humorless and robotic, the polar opposite of Aiden. Yet he’s still drawn to her for reasons he can’t explain, and Pauline can’t seem to keep herself away from him, either.

But there’s little time for them to explore their connection when a new threat to New Eden appears—and AL17 might be just the person to save the planet.
