He is an Associate Professor at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, India and Visiting Professor at the University of Liverpool, UK, collaborating with ESA & NASA. He has published extensively on Remote Sensing applications, including the Text book of Environmental Remote Sensing (Macmillan 2004)
