People asked the Author (who was working as Chief General Manager (Expressway) in NHAI) - How did you complete this expressway in 500 days? He started replying the usual - it is a result of good team work, quick decisions and payments, weekly site visits etc. Honestly speaking, he could not give the correct answer. Perhaps there is no short correct answer. But soon he realized with the idea of writing this book.

Dr. B S Singla, CGM(Retd.) from National Highway Authority of India had been holding various Senior Positions while working with Local and Central Govt Bodies. Before doing this work, he has rich experience of fast execution of projects like Construction of BPS Mahila University, Sonepat(13 months) and Construction of Bridge on Tangri Nadi on Ambala-Saha Road (7 months).
He has a major contribution in completing the Eastern Peripheral Expressway in the National Capital Region, India
