Kevin Drinkell has always put himself in the firing line. Now he lifts the lid on his rollercoaster life in football – as a striker, manager and top football agent. ‘Drinks’ was one of the most prolific forwards in the British game and his scoring exploits had top managers like Terry Venables and Alex Ferguson vying for his signature. Drinks also admits for the first time how he made a major mistake in quitting Rangers after he had finished as the SPL’s top scorer and helped the Ibrox giants take their first step on the road to Nine-in-a-Row. Kevin then returned to England and now tells of his catastrophic move to Coventry, his falling out with his former Rangers captain Terry Butcher and why he returned to Scotland to help lead Falkirk and Stirling Albion to glory.
