1. Analog Communication System: It transmits data using analogue signals. Radios AM and FM are two examples.
2. Digital Communication System:It transmits data using digital signals. Mobile phones and the internet are two examples.
3.Optical Communication System:It communicates by means of light waves. Cables made of fibre optics are an example.
4.Satellite Communication System: Long-distance information transmission is done using satellites. GPS and satellite television are two examples.
5. Mobile Communication:It transmits information wireless using radio waves. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are two examples. It enables two-way conversation between the parties. Phones and walkie-talkies are two examples. One-to-many communication is possible with the broadcast communication system. Radio and television broadcasts are two examples.
Point-to-Point System of Communication: It enables communication between two particular parties. Email and telephones are two examples.
Dr. V. Nagaraj received the Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronics
and Communication Engineering from IFET College of Engineering, Anna
University and he received his Master of Technology degree from Pondicherry
Engineering College in specialization of Wireless Communication. Later he
received his PhD degree from Pondicherry Engineering College, Pondicherry
University and presently he is working as Associate Professor & Head in
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Sri
Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology, Puducherry, India.
He is an International certified carrier coach and also completed his Diploma in
Teaching Skills for Educators. He has competed courses and workshop in NBA
and NAAC Accreditation. He is an ISO certified Auditor.
He is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE),
International Association of Engineers (IAENG) and Associate members in
International Association of Innovation Professionals (IAOIP). He is also
Reviewer in Reputable Journals like Elsevier, Springer, and IEEE access. His
research area includes Steganography, Cryptography, Watermarking, Image
Processing, Intellectual Property Rights, Information Security and Pattern
Recognition.
Ms. M. Thamizhselvi received the B.Tech Degree in Electronics and
Communication Engineering from the Institute of Christ College of Engineering
and technology, Pondicherry University in 2016 and she received her M.Tech
Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Pondicherry
Engineering College in 2018. Presently she is working as Assistant Professor in
the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Sri
Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology, Puducherry, India.
She is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and
International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
