Gary W. Boone knows he was born to be a stand-up comedian. It is the rest of the kids in the class who think he is a fool. Louis Sachar is the author of the award-winning international bestseller Holes, which was made into a film in 2003. All of Louis's books for children have been published in the UK by Bloomsbury. Louis Sachar lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, daughter and two dogs.
