The author's first encounter with Connaught Place was probably around 1970. He believes that his association with Connaught Place will continue as long as he is alive. This place has given abundant moments of joy and happiness. About the Author Vivek Shukla has been reading and writing in Hindi and English for three and a half decades. Held responsible positions in several media organizations. He has written numerous articles, features and reports on different colours of Delhi. His book 'Gandhi's Delhi : April 12, 1915-January 30, 1948 And Beyond' on Gandhiji's relations with Delhi was published in 2019. Traveled to nearly a dozen countries, he has been writing continuously for Navbharat Times, BBC, Times of India, Hindustan Times, Indian Express, The Hindu.
