About this ebook

A gritty, suspenseful thriller from the National Book Award–winning author of Tree of Smoke

In the seedy underbelly of Bakersfield, California, a motley crew of lowlifes find themselves entangled in a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse over $2.3 million. With echoes of Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett, Denis Johnson's Nobody Move is a masterful homage to the American crime novel, infused with the author's signature grisly humor and outrageousness.

Sexy, suspenseful, and wildly entertaining, Nobody Move showcases Johnson at his versatile best, delivering a provocative blend of noir fiction, dark humor, and literary prowess. This award-winning author once again proves his mastery of literary crime fiction, crafting a neo-noir page-turner that will keep readers on the edge of their seats.

Immerse yourself in the gritty world of American noir with Nobody Move, an electrifying novel from one of our greatest literary talents.
