Defend My Heart

My sweet lord. I've been on a roll these last few weeks. It's one book after the other for me to devour and I couldn't be happier. And to top it all... Here's a book from one of my favorite authors of all time. Terra Kelly has that effect on me. Her books are to die for and her recipes too... Defend my Heart is her latest release and it's the third book from the Crystal Shores series. This new book explores the lives of Angie and Milo. Angie left Crystal Shores when she 14 years old. At that age, she already had a crush on Milo but that wasn't known because she was too shy. Now, 14 years later, she's back in town and her encounter with Milo... Milo has lost his parents and now he sees himself taking care of the family farm and do his job as a firefighter. One day he stopped on the road to help a woman in need. He didn't recognize her as the shy girl that used to work with his mom. So sweet. So sweet and perfect. Perfect. I loved it so much that I didn't want it to end. Super sweet plot, super hot, very well written, and intense at the same time. These two were perfect with each other and I was hoping that all would be okay in the end. I adored them so much. The way the story progressed made me devour it in one sitting. And why the hell do I always end up these books with the need to go baking something? Beats me. Lol Terra oh sweet Terra. This book was another sweet masterpiece and I can't wait for Jake's book. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
