Melissa Canara Wilking deeply clarified; Minimalism is about an intentional search for happiness. At the beginning of my writing career, there was a time between 2015 and 2020 when I wrote many books on my terrace garden. At that time, I didn't have the office to manage my things and I was brutally suffering from harsh weather; sometimes scorching heat while sometimes in the chilly weather Even, I have worked on the veranda of my terrace garden because of the heavy rainfall, scorching heat and bad weather. Those days were alone but not lonely and I had no expectations from my writing career. I was expressing myself because I really had something to share and because of no expectations, I realized, this is what I can do for the rest of my life. Every time I write, I have a great sense of accomplishment and it continues to accumulate for me for a decade. I feel delighted when I understand; today I have to write a few words and expressing my heart out. I didn’t have to force myself and all natural, healing and fulfilling my soul every day. I learned from the process; the less can be more when you are internally happy. At that time, I only had a folding wooden table, a plastic chair, a vintage typewriter, a few pages, a pen, a diary and a big glass of water and you wouldn't believe I was much happier than I am today. There were no more things to worry about and I had enough space to think. I was glad because I had no expectations. I was learning my skill with my complete attendance of both the conscious and subconscious mind. Even though that terrace was burning in summers and shivering in winters, I was happier because I didn't have to care for the walls and roof because I was always beyond it. I had enough space on my terrace and most significantly, in my mind. Your environment affects you the most and that's the reason, sometimes the people with less, live much better and feel more alive than the people who accumulate the most. Minimalism is an ancient culture and people only think of it as a matter of lifestyle but it's more than that.
