About this ebook

Where's the best place on Earth for the Marshmallow Martians to learn new things? School, of course! This new graphic chapter series will delight independent readers with its hilarious second installment!

Lunchboxes, recess, and gym--oh my! Without G.L.O.W., their Galactic Learning Online Whiz (which is a fancy way of saying "computer"), the Marshmallow Martians don't know where to turn for information. So they have to go to where all the cool kids learn--earthling school. This hilarious companion to Marshmallow Martians: Show and Smell will make kids look at life on Earth through fresh (googly) eyes.

This silly graphic chapter book with its ensemble of lovable martians will have kids ages 5-8 laughing out loud while gaining confidence in reading. Graphic chapter books serve as a great bridge to graphic novels and longer chapter books.

About the author

DEANNA KENT and NEIL HOOSON are a writer/artist duo in Kelowna, B.C. Canada. Together, they’ve worked on some of the biggest kids and family brands—including books, marketing campaigns, and interactive experiences. Deanna loves twinkle lights, black licorice, and Edna Mode, and may be the only person on the planet who says "team work makes the dream work" without a hint of sarcasm. Neil is king of Les Paul guitar, makes killer enchiladas, and really wants aliens to land in his backyard. By far, their greatest creative challenge is raising four (very busy, very amazing) boys and their giant dog, Hugo.
